Red Velvet Crinkles are back at Wifey On Duty in the Al Rigga Night Market! Soft, fudgy, and rich with that classic red velvet flavor, this crowd favorite is one of the original signature treats from Wifey On Duty.

For three consecutive years, His Excellency, the Ambassador of the Philippines to the UAE, Alfonso Ver, has spotted my husband at our kiosk and is always amused to see a foreigner with a Filipino wife blending right in and serving the Filipino community in Dubai.

This year, the Ambassador told him he should start a business in the Philippines. My husband replied, “Sure, just give me a permanent residence visa!” 😄 The Ambassador laughed and said he is more than welcome anytime. 🇵🇭

Moments like this remind me why I am proud of what we do. It may be small, but it truly warms my heart to serve and share the flavors of home with our kabayans abroad. Inshallah, soon we will be in the Philippines too. Proud of you, Mo! Way to go!

The business is technically Wifey on Duty, but in reality, it's Hubby who is always on duty. 💜
