Amazon’s Product Compliance
Amazon requires sellers to provide proof of safety certifications for certain product categories. Sellers may be required to upload these certificates in Seller Central to continue selling specific products. Amazon might also audit or suspend listings that lack proper safety documentation.
4. Testing and Compliance Companies
Sellers can work with labs and third-party companies, such as SGS, Intertek, or Bureau Veritas, to obtain safety certifications for their products. These companies offer testing services to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards.
Failure to provide appropriate product safety certifications may result in product removal or account suspension on Amazon.
