New Arrival: Original ‘Hyaline’ Lounge Chair, designed by Fabio Lenci for Comfort Line, Italy, 1967. The chair features two freestanding panels of tempered glass, which form both the supporting structure and armrests. Suspended between them, a continuous sequence of cylindrical cushions curves from the seat into the reclining backrest, secured by polished aluminium fittings. The transparent structure creates the impression that the upholstered body is floating within the glass panels, emphasising Lenci’s experimental approach to materials and construction. We have newly upholstered in aged Italian leather in a deep forest green, chosen for its softly worn character and natural tonal variation.⁣

New Arrival: Four-Shade Chandelier produced by Seguso, Italy, c1930s. The chandelier features a horizontal black glass panel framed in polished chrome-plated metal and suspended from a central stem. Four ribbed shades in white pulegoso glass are arranged evenly across the frame, their finely bubbled surfaces softly diffusing the light when illuminated. Chrome fittings and bell-shaped finials beneath the panel complete the look. An unusual example of Italian Art Deco lighting, combining the graphic quality of black glass and polished metal with the distinctive texture of Murano glass.⁣

New Arrival: Rare and important Cocktail Cabinet designed by Giulio and Giovanni Sichirollo for Grazioli & Gaudenzi, Italy, c1930s. Expertly crafted and veneered in a range of exotic timbers, including Macassar ebony, pearwood and olivewood burl, the cabinet features a pair of curved doors decorated with intricate marquetry depicting an interpretation of the mythological Calydonian Boar Hunt. The fitted interior provides storage for bottles and glassware, complemented by a hinged upper compartment and pull-out serving surface. Below, a further cupboard is concealed behind an unusual serpentine latticework panel, while a chevron-veneered frieze introduces a contrasting geometric detail. An extraordinary example of Italian Art Deco cabinetmaking, combining elaborate decorative detail with ingenious concealed storage.⁣
