A little early finish for us this Saturday ✨

We’ll be closing at 2pm so the team has a little extra time to swap aprons for sparkle and get ready for the Carillon Business Awards that evening. 🖤

🌸 Where candles become art 🌸

Our 4.5kg feature candle has had its quarterly makeover, and this time I gave the team a very simple brief…

“Make it springish.”

And this is what they created.

Inspired by a beautiful old-fashioned rose from one of our team member’s gardens, this design came to life with blooming pink roses, whimsical mushrooms and all the little details that make it so special.

This is one of the things we love most at The Coven Bx — taking an idea, a feeling or a vision and turning it into something beautiful. We love creating pieces that are a little different, a little special, and full of personality.

Our big feature candle changes every quarter, and this is our latest Spring edition.

I’ve been trying to avoid this one for as long as I could, but unfortunately I’ve reached the point where I don’t really have a choice.

The cost of our coffee beans has gone up again, along with the ongoing increases in milk, and while I’ve tried to absorb those extra costs, I just can’t keep doing it.

So from 1st September, our coffees will increase by 50c:

☕ Small — $5
☕ Medium — $6
☕ Large — $7

I’m still keeping alternative milks at no extra charge, with syrups and extra shots charged as usual.

I’m sorry I’ve had to make the increase, and I hope everyone understands. Thank you for continuing to support us — whether it’s popping in for a coffee, making a candle, having a chat, or simply telling someone about us. Every little bit of support really does make a difference to our little business. ❤️

Just look at some of the amazing candles created yesterday! 😍

These were made by a lovely group who chose to celebrate a young lady’s birthday with us — and I absolutely love seeing how completely different every candle turns out.

Same table, same experience… but every person creates something that is totally their own. From the fragrance and vessel, right through to the colours and decorations, there really are no rules on what you can create. 🕯️✨

And yes — you can celebrate your birthday with us too! 🎂

Whether it’s kids, teens or adults, we can cater for birthday groups and help make it a celebration that’s a little bit different.
