Our colony of Australian Native Stingless bees is thriving with the flowering nasturtiums. In case you didn’t know you can eat the flowers and the leaves of nasturtiums in salad, they add a peppery taste. You can also pickle the seed which many people purchased from our farm stand last season.

First time open for the new season. Today we have posy jars filled with beautifully scented freesias and ranunculus, dahlia tubers starting at $5 each, fresh farm eggs, keychains and bracelets.

Early Sunday morning one of our customers reached out for a special bouquet of flowers for his partners birthday. This afternoon we received this photo of his surprise …. a wedding proposal ❤️ Congratulations to this beautiful couple 🥰 and what a gorgeous engagement ring 💍 ( Thankyou for letting us share in this amazing life moment with you xx)

What an absolutely gorgeous warm day it turned out to be at the Moruya Markets on Saturday. One of the nicest parts of my day is getting to meet and speak with such beautiful people. Thankyou for sharing Maria Capone Attitude of Mind and Spirit 🥰

People who inspire me.

At the Moroya markets this morning, I met Theresa, a creative kind woman with a great big heart. Theresa stayed after the catastrophic fires of 2019-2020, supporting neighbours and friends. Being present for community and elderly neighbours this beautiful place is slowly rebuilding their community.

It’s been a big few weeks getting our 5,000 ranunculus corms into their beds. We’ve also popped in about 2,500 seed to increase our numbers for the following season. In between getting that big job done we’ve begun sorting our dahlias and getting them into winter storage so that this year we can split some and sell them this spring. Later this week we will be potting on our sweet peas into larger pots to take to the markets with us next weekend. Time to water the tunnel and rest my poor weary back.
