Layers gathered over time…

This textile vessel is made from reclaimed fabrics, vintage lace, and old doilies ~ each piece chosen for its texture, its history, the quiet story it carries.

Slowly brought together with hundreds of tiny stitches, allowing the form to emerge as it’s held, shaped, and gently guided into a vessel.

Available now as part of the Threads exhibition at in Sandgate.

Sometimes it’s the unexpected pieces that make a space feel truly yours.

These vintage book paper wreaths bring texture, softness, and a quiet sense of story ~ something a little different from the usual wall decor.

I love styling them with restored furniture, where old and new sit together so naturally.

A small gathering… a nesting… a cluster… of vessels 🤍

I dropped these textile pieces off yesterday for the Threads exhibition, opening Thursday at and running through to 24 May.

I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of some of the other works being installed ~ so inspiring, layered, and full of story. It’s going to be a beautiful exhibition.

I’ve been spending some time over the past few weeks working on a series of slow stitched textile pieces.

Quiet, layered work… returning to the rhythm of needle and thread.

These pieces will be part of Threads, an exhibition opening next week at Et Al Gallery & Studio.

I’m really looking forward to seeing them come together in the space and to being part of something shared with other makers.

Wild Botanicals is all about exploration.

Working with paint, paper, and texture, this workshop invites you to layer, experiment, and respond intuitively ~ letting your piece unfold in its own way.

There’s no right or wrong here. Just a gentle process of creating, adjusting, and discovering what emerges.

One of my favourite things is seeing how different every piece becomes. Even starting from the same place, each person creates something entirely their own.

If you enjoy mixed media, and a more expressive approach to creating, you may really love this one.

It’s gentle, repetitive, and surprisingly relaxing… perfect for slowing down while making something beautiful and practical.

Whether you’re a beginner or have been creating for years, these sessions are about connection, creativity, and taking time for yourself.
