How charming is this kitchen 🩵.
I love the soft coastal feel the VJ-style panelling gives, mixed with the warm timber island, brass details and those sweet little café curtains!.
Beautifully done by the talented Truth & Co Interior Design this space feels relaxed, pretty and so full of character.

Not long now until the weekend 🤗
The days are getting shorter and shorter, and that is definitely the part of winter I do not love… waking up while it is still pitch black outside, or reaching late afternoon and already saying goodbye to the last little rays of sunshine.
So today I am sharing this beauty I had the pleasure of touring back in Brisbane. A little bit of home inspiration to brighten up these cooler winter days.

This afternoon, I received a call to say Elena’s second knee surgery is happening this Thursday 😱 To say it was unexpected and very last-minute is an understatement… we have just a day and a half to get our heads around it all.
My brave girl is ready, though, and cannot wait for it to be over. It has been such a tough year for her, but hopefully, once this is all behind her, she will never have to worry about her knees again 🤞❤️. Also, how good do the branches of our kumquat look in the kitchen, they also smell amazing 🍊.

I have always found it so interesting how each home style tells a little story of its time, from the classic Queenslander and Victorian homes to the more modern coastal and Hamptons inspired designs we see today.
