Upcycle before and after. Now this TV units has a new lease on life. Took off all the chrome and glass sliding door. Added new doors where the sliding door was added handles to the door. Added a new timber shelf for the DVD player and bits and bobs. Painted the gloss and new doors with dulux maximum adhesion and Dulux low gloss aquaenamel. White washed the timber shelf and used a clear water-based top coat.

Carpet stairs no more. Pulled out at least 500 staples quick sand undercoated the mdf. Painted the stringers Dulux Snowy Mountain Half gloss and the treads Dulux Dieskau timber and deck paint. Look for second stage when I add pictures to the stairwell.

Before and after whitewashing this piece for a more coastal look. I used paint I had porters Irish linen and mixed 50/50 with water. I love whitewashing as it is cost effective with the use of paint. I used 4 tablespoons of paint and water to achieve this look. I am not sealing it with a clean as it is quite a rustic piece. Picked up piece from Marketplace for a whole new look. Finally finished this kerbside find but forgot to take a photo of the before as I was enthusiastic to try out the new revive furniture paint from porters paint. Originally the desk was a mahogany colour. I sanded the top finished with Dulux Matt clear coat for furniture and used Porters Irish linen on the base which had a built in wax finish. No need to top coat this chalk like paint.
