Who needs to spend excessive amounts of money on smoothies and shakes at places like Boost Juice when you can do it yourself at home for way less. And you get to control the ingredients that go into it and minimise all the added nasties.

For breakfast this morning Mr KP opted to make a breakfast smoothie using his own ingredients but based on the “Breakfast-On-The-Go” recipe in Cookidoo.

On Tuesday I made a batch of “Pumpkin Soup” and upon experiencing a burst of motivation and inspiration I decided to try my hand at making “Portuguese Bread Rolls (Pão de água)” to go with it.

But there was a catch.

I didn’t know who I was making it for (and yes I know this may sound strange).

Usually when you go to the kitchen you’re making a meal for your own household. But on Tuesday I knew deep in my soul that this lovely batch of food wasn’t meant for me. Instead, it was destined for my next door neighbours, and that’s exactly where it was taken.

This morning I opened my phone and received the most wonderful surprise that absolutely filled my heart with joy and gratitude. It was a message of appreciation from my neighbour with a couple of photos attached.

I am so so lucky to be able to do the things that I do, and I’m so lucky my Thermomix has given me the confidence to be able to create these meals that I can share with pride with the people I care about.

Sarah, I can’t tell you how much your post means to me. I appreciate you so very much. ❤️✨

I’ve attached one of the photos. Also, how lovely does her presentation look?!
