No toilet. Tiny bathroom. Big brief. ✅
Brunswick Bathroom Renovation 🟢🛁✨
One of my favourite transformations — a dark, dated bathroom reworked into a functional, character filled family bathroom.
The original space had poor flow, limited storage, and most importantly no toilet. The brief was ambitious: fit a bath, shower and toilet into a very small footprint without it feeling cramped.
Key design moves:
▫️ Japanese style soaking tub to keep bathing functionality in a reduced floor space
▫️ Combined wet zone so bath and shower could coexist efficiently
▫️ Glass brick partition to divide wet and dry areas while maintaining light and openness
▫️ Layered green palette with terrazzo-look tiles, feature wall tiles and custom lighting for a subtle vintage / mid-century feel
The result is a bathroom that feels warm, spacious and full of personality despite its compact size — and works beautifully for a growing family. The addition of an internal toilet has been a total game changer for daily living (and long-term value).
If you’re renovating a compact bathroom and trying to fit everything in, it’s absolutely possible with the right planning.
Glass bricks or terrazzo — which are you choosing? 👀
