🌿🌼 A glimpse of the second work in my new limited Wattle series…
The second piece is now underway, with the first nearly complete in the background. Looking forward to building up the flower layers on this one.
These artworks are part of a one-off series of three paintings inspired by the seasonal flowering of wattle on Ghungalu Country - created as a single, unrepeated body of work.
Slowly building the series.

All about the layers. 🌿🌼 painting up a large new wattle artwork, so many layers of colour in this one, and been taking my time building it up slowly but it’s starting to come together with these flowers. Work in progress, lots more detail to go in those flowers 😅.

What do you think I should do after this one? More flowers or more turtles? Either way it’s a celebration of Country and culture.

When finished, this piece will exclusively be available on www.milbidesigns.com - sign up to the site’s e-newsletter to be one of the first to find out when it’s available.
