Above & Beyond Transform Declutter | Organise | Transform Hi everyone, my name is Chris, I'm the owner and founder of Above & Beyond Transform. Cooking, cleaning, washing, etc.

I am a mother of two young toddlers so I know how busy life can get and leave you literally no time to organise your house. Daily tasks around the house can be very challenging from time to time. You are doing everything you possibly can to balance between work and home. But somehow your house is still "messed up". Do you have the feeling that you can’t find the ingredients you want in your pantry

? Do you have the feeling that all the pots and pans are going to fall out when you open the cupboards? Do you have the feeling that your wardrobe is always messy? Do you have the feeling that your linen cupboard is always untidy and overflowing? Do you have the feeling that all your invoices for your tax is piling up and out of control? Do you have the feeling that your cleaning products is everywhere around the house? Do you have the feeling that kids toys can never be stored properly? Do you have the feeling that your under sink/basin shelves are always full? If your answer is YES to any of the questions above, contact me. Let me get your organised home back and transform it into a space you love. ONE ROOM AT A TIME.

🏠 House Staging 🏠

Part two comes to the grid a bit later than expected. 😜

In this Part two of the staging item sharing, it’s all about on the Plants 🌱 🪴

I don’t have experience growing plants, so all my indoor plants are faux plants.
They stay “alive” in appearance and don’t require much care except dusting every now and then.

I love green plants and I believe the colour green simply brings calmness and peace to the space.

To help sell the house, I purchase about $500 worth of plants, including two 1.8m trees, quite a few new pieces and a few vases plus pots.
There are so many options out there. And I do find and have the most budget friendly faux plants.

In the final display, some plants I purchased during the time we lived in the house, some pieces I purchased for the house sale purposely.
All the greenery elevates the look, relaxes the environment and helps buyers feel more calm and positive, which can lead to a quicker decision.
I also know that all these plants will have a spot in my new house so less money to spend to decorate the house when our new house is ready 😊
It’s a win-win situation so it was 100% worth the money and the effort.

If you plan to stage your house for sale, adding more plants will be one of the most effective way to assist the sale. 😊

📅 eCalendar Part 1 📅

I have been wanting a eCalendar for a while but I don’t want to pay subscription for ongoing service.

Found this eCalendar from during last year’s Black Friday sale, but it was sold out before I knew it. 😥

The item has been on my Wishlist since then and I finally got to order one online a couple of weeks ago and picked it up from our local store.

Review:
Overall it is an awesome device
- Convenience: I love it that I got it from , so if anything is wrong I can go to the store to resolve the issue.
- The Functionality: It comes with all the features I’m looking for, the calendar, the tasks, the meal plan, the photo slideshow, the grocery shopping list, the to-do list.
- The Display: You can have it either horizontal or vertical, depending on the space you have. I don’t have the room on my kitchen bench so I managed to squeeze it between my toaster and my coffee machine which fits perfectly at a perfect location, so it’s easy for everyone to see and use.
- The Price: $229 for a 15.6 inch HD display eCalendar with all the features. It’s truly amazing.

The device is very easy to use, but if there is anything I need to complain about, it would be the response time. I found it can be laggy when navigating the device. For example if Lucas wanted to tick a task, it could take a couple of seconds for the device to respond.
Other than that, it’s great.

This Part 1 is about the device, I will share Part 2 next week and show you how to use the app.

Stay tuned.

🏠 House Staging 🏠

In this Part One of the House Staging sharing, it’s all about on the wall and the dining table.
Some items I already had, some pieces I purchased for the house sale. My goal was to make the most of the things I already owned and repurchase the new purchases in the future in our new home. So I was designing and buying with intention and purpose.

Artwork

I love $28 (was $26 last year🤭) series. We had the Protea one on different wall, so I added the second one and move them to fill the space. (We had our pre-wedding photos there on the wall for 8 years ☺️)
* Total Cost : $26

Prints

In the black frames, we had our family photos there prior. I wanted something warm for the buyers, something neutral to create a zen feeling. So I found the leaves on Canva and printed them from my printer.
For our coffee station, we had a plan for the feature wall but never got around to finish it. So I bought two Oak look frames and found these coffee artwork online and printed in A4 size at home. Such a budget friendly way to create something nice.
* Total Cost : $12

The Sheer Curtains

I had blackout curtains on the rod prior. Simply replaced them with these beautiful sheer curtains from Kmart, totally changed the vibe and elevated the room. It provides the calmness we seek from a bedroom and creates a designer feeling in the space. Love it 🥰
* Cost: $114

The Dining Table

I always love setting up the table for Christmas, it’s such a fun thing to do. For the staging, I wanted something simple but beautiful, so I did my research and came up with something like this. I had the vase for years and the dried flower is from my protea tree. The rest were from Kmart. I can’t find the cutlery set any more online, but I think it was around $20
* Cost: $60

For $212 that I spent, I might have just add $2000 to the sale price. Bonus point, I’ll be using most of these items in my future home. So all in all it’s an investment in every way.

Ready for part two? Come back later this week for the next post.

🏠 House Selling Experience Share 🏠

I can’t believe it has been nearly 4 months since we sold our house.
It all happened really quickly, but everything is still fresh and clear, and it feels like it only happened last week.

We have been told that our house sale went extremely well and smooth. I believe, our on-point preparation, an amazing sales team, a fantastic broker and a perfect timing have all contributed to this adventure and satisfying outcome.

So if you are on the same journey, I hope this will help you. 😊

👶🏼 Baby Wardrobe 👶🏼

I organised this wardrobe for my Friday client in June 2024. Just like that, 13 months has gone by. How time flies 😱😱

And guess what, the little baby boy has grown into a super cute and energetic toddler, who walks, runs and “talks”, sort of 🤣 . He always searches for me and calls out “Chris” in the house when I’m there Friday. Super dooper cute 🥰

So when the boy starts to walk, shoes become essential. In the meantime, we needed extra hanging space for all the cute little outfits.

After the initial setup, I recently added the following two items to make the space more functional and kinda complete the space.
- Adjustable hanging rod from . It simply hangs on the existing hanging rail and fits most wardrobe space cause both heights and width can be adjusted 😎
- Shoe rack from , it was advertised as a kitchen shelf, but it was a perfect shoe organising solution in this case.

I love watching space evolves as the needs change.

One step at a time if you can’t do one storey at a time 🥰
