Finally finished this dress!!! My daughter got splashes of paint on her new dress that she had just bought. She asked me if I could do something with it rather than her throwing it out as she loved it. I tried fern leaves but they were too delicate, so I ended up using the underside of different sized and shaped fig leaves and textile paint to cover the paint splashes.

It's taken a while but I have one side of the dress finished, I will finish the other side tomorrow.

Inside painted, outside painted, drawers, and the front half of the doors painted, just have to paint the inside of the doors and let it cure before adding mosaic down the centre strip and the top coat. Then put it all back together it will be finished in about 2 weeks or so

Undercoating just about done, on to painting soon. I pulled all the hardware off and cleaned it up too

Today I pulled all the hardware off the cabinet and filled the holes and major flaws with putty ready for sanding. Discovered that the drawer and cupboard handles are not a standard width between attachment bolts so filled in the handle holes because I'll need to drill new ones. Took a shelf out because it actually has a hanging rail. I also discovered I'll need to plane the bottom to make it level. Will take and post pics tomorrow of the progress.
