Australia's oldest paint colour chart. Issued in Sydney in 1884. The colours listed included straw, salmon, Indian red, grey, dark stone, French grey, light bronze, yellow drab, wagon yellow, blue, light stone, sky blue, chocolate, Frankfort green. Some of these colours would not have been selected for architectural work but for commercial and industrial purposes.

Now we have over 500 different types of whites alone. 🤪

Angry 😤 and disgusted to say the least!
And it’s not just us — our customer feels the same way.

As business owners, when you employ someone, pay them a decent wage, provide a company vehicle, and make sure they’re well looked after — this is not the kind of mess you expect to be left behind. It’s a slap in the face and shows zero care or pride in their work.

When you pay for a supervisor, this level of workmanship is completely unacceptable. Be careful who you employ — having to return and fix an entire job full of avoidable mistakes is nothing short of pure laziness.

In the trades industry, going behind a business owner’s back to advertise through their own customers is beyond unprofessional — it’s disgraceful and frowned upon by every respectable operator out there.

Thankfully, as the true professionals, we take pride in going back and rectifying the poor workmanship left behind. That’s the difference between us and the rest — a testament to the quality and standards we continue to provide our customers every single time.
