What a week!
Our new Spectrum showroom officially opened its doors in Chirnside Park, and we’ve loved welcoming so many familiar and new faces through.
From clients and fabric reps to designer friends, family and plenty of excited kids — it was the perfect way to celebrate this very special milestone.

Ever wondered what happens before your curtains are installed?

Once they’re sewn, we hang every single curtain, give them a thorough iron, and carefully fan fold them so they’re ready for installation day. We also check each one over to make sure everything is just right.

For pleated curtains, this step is especially important. We make sure every pleat is perfectly shaped and the headings are sitting exactly as they should. And yes, we iron both the front fabric and the lining, because it’s the little details that make all the difference.

It’s all part of making sure your curtains look their absolute best from the moment they’re installed

No two days are ever quite the same. You’ll usually find her moving between client appointments across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs and our Chirnside Park showroom, helping people make decisions about their window furnishings and bringing their ideas to life.
When she’s not meeting with clients, she’s busy keeping things running behind the scenes, working alongside the team and juggling all the different parts of running a business.
It’s a busy schedule, but Sophie somehow manages to keep all the plates spinning. Safe to say, multitasking is one of her strengths! 💫
