Looking forward to another great day out Homegrown Parkes

We are thrilled to share our schedule for Homegrown Parkes on 21 March.

We kick off with a short Welcome from the Main Stage at 9am.
9.10am - Parkes Shire Concert Band (PARK)
10.00am - Parkes School of Dance Inc (MAIN STAGE)
10.30am - Cameron Sharp (PARK STAGE)
11.30am - Parkes High School Guwal Dancers (MAIN STAGE)
12.00pm - Cameron Sharp (PARK STAGE)
1.00pm - Parkes Musical & Dramatic Society (MAIN STAGE)
1.30pm - Fijian Singers (PARK)

Find a comfy spot in the Park and enjoy entertainment throughout the day.

Woven into this day are two workshops in the Cooke Park Pavilion:
10.30am - 11.30am Indian Cooking Workshop with Monica & Eric from Eric's Table.

Dear Homegrown Parkes peeps....

We are sorry to announce that our event has been cancelled for Saturday, 29 March. We have tried to have a balance of waiting for the full weather forecast to emerge and being respectful of our vendors, stallholders, performers and workshop providers.

With readings of between 50ml and 70ml now forecast for Friday and Saturday, it would be irresponsible of us to proceed with the event. We are grateful for the rain.

We have rescheduled our event to Saturday, 26 April. We are fortunate to be able to welcome back Kath Whitchurch and Elizabeth Briton as workshop providers. If you have booked for a workshop, we will re-schedule those workshops and retain your registration. You will have an opportunity to cancel if you aren't able to join us on the 26th.

Thank you to our amazing community and supporters, volunteers and Council staff. We have a fabulous Shire and these events bring us together as one. We can't wait to see you on the 26th!
..and don't forget that the Corvettes will be at the Parkes Showground on Saturday. Take your brolly and head up and say Hi!
