ITALY 🇮🇹 Beach days, sunshine & a little bit of magic… ☀️✨

Back at one of our favourite beachside lunch spot, il Faro Pedaso 0734937124, for the perfect dose of dolce vita 🌊🥂

PUBLIC ETIQUETTE QUESTION… because apparently I’m confused 😂

When did it become acceptable to have a full TWO-WAY conversation on hands-free in public spaces?!

✈️ On a plane?
🍽️ In a restaurant?
🚆 On public transport?
👥 Basically anywhere other humans are trapped within earshot and have absolutely no desire to hear your conversation?

Am I being oversensitive, or is this just incredibly ignorant behaviour? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I understand emergencies. I understand a quick call. But a full-blown conversation on speakerphone where everyone around you is involuntarily recruited as an audience?!

WHY?! 😩😂

My personal rule:

If you wouldn’t walk up to a group of strangers and make them listen to your entire conversation, why would you put your phone on speaker and do exactly that?

Unless you’re a reality TV star filming a scene and production needs to record both sides of the conversation… PUT THE PHONE TO YOUR EAR. 😂

4th July ready … I love American holidays 🇺🇸🇺🇸 Last-minute 4th of July prep meant a shopping mission to find stars & stripes 🇺🇸 which were sold out everywhere. I got the last few items on the shelves at Target.

Turns out everyone else had the same idea. 😂

Romantic Dinner at the Versace Villa. Built in 1930, Versace bought the property in 1992 & proceeded to spent millions of dollars, amalgamating with an adjoining property, upgrading the original home & adding the landscaped gardens and spectacular pool tiled with 24-karat gold mosaics. No detail was left undone - imported italian marble & antiques, hand-painted frescoes, intricate mosaics throughout. Eye-candy for anyone interested in architecture, history … or Versace of course! I loved seeing other diners wearing their best Versace outfits - just added to a great happy celebratory mood of the experience. Highly recommend.
