Price's Produce (Andrew and Norma Price) make homemade jam and grow plants, specialising in Fuchsias on our Hazelbrook property. The jam is only made from fruit grown on the property and it has been sold at Magpie Markets, Lawson and at the Mid-Mountains Garden Festival and other local events. It can also be purchased from our property. Andrew's the jam grower and maker. Norma's the flower grower.
Many of you may have visited our garden as part of the Mid-Mountains Garden Festival over the years or the Fuchsia Sales. Half the garden is his and half hers! This year we propagated the fuchsias (with help from fuchsia club volunteers) for the sale in November. There are some left over and these are now flowering and for sale. We are going to have a stall on our driveway on 11 and 17 December where there will be flowering fuchsias and beautiful jams for sale - ideal Christmas gifts. So if you missed out in November come and have a look.
15% of the sales will go to a local charity and 15% will go to help a Children's Creative Development Project in Nepal helping disadvantaged children near Pokhara. "We hope to help the kids have a brighter Fuchsia (Future)"
