Jane hired someone to refresh her deck before listing her house for sale. They painted it red — wrong colour entirely, patchy coverage, no proper prep. The deck looked worse than it did before the job started.

That’s when she called us.

We came in and stripped everything back to bare timber using our German brush sanding system — no chemical stripping, just clean mechanical prep done properly. Got the wood clean, pH balanced, then applied two coats of Intergrain UltraDeck Oil in Natural.

The result: the natural timber look she actually wanted from the start. Even finish, proper pe*******on, ready for the market.

She went from frustrated to relieved in a day.

The owner was done with regular oiling and staining — she wanted a solid colour, low maintenance finish and something that tied in with the composite deck she already had out front.

Paint was the perfect call.

Sanded everything back to bare timber, full deck clean, primer coat down, then two coats of Cabot’s TimberColour Deck Paint matched to her existing composite deck colour.

Seamless finish front to back.
She’s happy and the whole outdoor area looks cohesive and sharp now.

Owner had been maintaining his deck himself over the years — but brush marks, scratches and patchy sections had built up to the point where a touch-up wasn’t going to cut it anymore.

Only one way to fix that properly. Full sand-back, reset everything, start clean.

Sanded back to bare timber, full deck clean, two coats of Intergrain NaturalStain in Merbau. The deck looks absolutely mint again and James is wrapped.
