3 things to consider when deciding where to place your outdoor kitchen...
1. Proximity to the house
Think about how the kitchen fits into the wider garden, what appliances you'll need and where you'll be dining. A sink and drinks fridge mean fewer trips back to the house, giving you more freedom with placement.
2. Where the sun falls
If you're a sun lover, consider where the sun will be at the times you're most likely to cook outside. However, if you choose to have a fridge outside, make sure this isn't placed in direct sunlight.
3. Do you need shelter?
If you plan to cook beyond spring and summer, shelter from wind and rain is worth considering. Unless you fancy standing over the BBQ with an umbrella.
Ultimately, the right spot should work for the cook, their guests and the garden as a whole.
