This simple philosophy sits at the heart of Banksia Bay Living.

The spaces we call our own have a profound influence on how we live, feel and function within them.

That's why my approach begins with understanding the people behind the spaces — their needs, routines, challenges and what matters most to them.

Through thoughtful organising, styling and design, I help shape spaces that work with the people who use them.

Because ultimately, it's about helping people live better lives in the spaces they call their own.

🌿 Making Room for Change

As life changes, the spaces we live in often need to change with us.

Perhaps you're...

👶 Preparing to welcome a new little life into the family.

🏡 Making room for a parent or loved one to move in.

🛏️ Getting ready to welcome family and friends over Christmas.

💻 Trying to carve out a functional workspace at home.

🌸 Or simply finding that a room no longer works for the way you live.

Whatever the reason, adapting your home doesn't always mean renovating or starting from scratch.

Sometimes it's about taking a fresh look at the space you already have and finding new ways to make it work.

A little reorganising, a change in layout or a different approach to how a room is used can make a world of difference.

Through thoughtful organising, styling and design, I help individuals and families adapt their spaces to better accommodate life's changing needs.

Is your home needing to make room for a change? I'd love to help you explore the possibilities. Feel free to get in touch.

Because sometimes making room for what matters means making room for what's changing.

’Tis the season to consider what you’d like to make room for at home in the months ahead…

The warmer days are here, the kids are heading back to school, and before we know it, summer, visitors, shared meals and Christmas gatherings will be upon us.

Preparing for the gathering season starts with making room.

Maybe it’s getting the spare room ready, clearing the dining table, or sorting the pantry, entry or living room before the end-of-year rush.

Or perhaps it’s simply letting go of what’s taking up space, so there’s more room for the people and moments that matter.

Because preparing home for the gathering season isn’t about making it perfect.
It’s about helping it support what’s coming — the people, the moments and the memories.

Making room for what truly matters.

If there’s a space you’d love to organise, rethink or restore before summer and Christmas arrive, spring bookings are open from mid-October. Send me a message and we can talk about what would help.

Had the most amazing companion on my walk yesterday morning… 🙂

A stingray, gliding through the shallows in water barely deeper than my ankles.

For a few minutes, we travelled along beside each other in companionable silence.

Just one of those unexpected little moments that makes your day. 🤍

Sometimes making room is simply about creating space to stop, look and listen… baby.
…that’s my philosophy. 🎶🎵😎😀🤍

Recently I had the privilege of helping a client with her home office.

As a mum returning to study, my client needed the space to support increased use while continuing to accommodate the quiet-time space already within the room.

This project wasn’t about starting again. It was about retaining what was important, refining what was already there and making thoughtful adjustments to better support how the space needed to function.

In this case, improving function began with reducing the length of the desk, introducing drawer storage so everyday items could sit within easy reach, and reducing excess on the desktop itself. The aim was to create a more focused study area shaped around how my client prefers to work.

The project began with a Home Review & Action Plan, followed by additional support through concept design, a curated shopping list with clickable links and scaled drawings to help visualise the proposed changes.

I’m looking forward to seeing it come together. 🤍

A little milestone behind the scenes 🙌🏼

I’ve received my certificate for completing the Professional Organiser Course (Decluttering) through the Australian College of Environmental Studies.

It’s been a valuable addition to the design side of Banksia Bay Living — strengthening the practical, people-first approach I bring to helping homes function better.

Always learning. Always refining. Always making room for what matters. 🤍
