WHY WE CREATED INNOVATIVE RECYCLED PLASTIC TABLEWARE! Over 290 million tons of trash was generated in the U.S. in 2020. To put this into perspective, that’s just over 4 kilos of waste generated every single second. Australia alone produces approximately 76 million tons of waste every year, a number that is increasing.
Homes, caterers, chefs, restaurateurs, hotels and others in the food industry know how much they contribute to this problem by using single use plastic or Styrofoam tableware.
In many cases there were no other solutions but to keep using single use items contributing to the millions of tons of trash being generated. It was this environmental impact to this frustrating problem that caught founder Eve’s attention to crate a simple solution to help reduce plastic that ends in Australian landfill.
Although it is only a small contribution, it certainly is a step in the right direction moving forward to a cleaner Country.
