A new way of learning in Monbulk.

The students and I knocked this one out after our street art workshop.

The theme was "LEARNING" and time was short, but we got the job done.

What you knew about ā€˜boring portablesā€™ can be changed!

The portable before.
The portable after.

Same buildingā€¦ completely different energy.

I ran weekly Friday afternoon sessions, starting with painting boards and a graff piece ā€œRespectā€ together, then graduating to the final mural on this school portable to finish off the program.

A school space can feel practical and inspiring at the same time.

The students in Berwick helped me give this boring classroom portable a unique makeover.

The design combines strong directional lines, natural shaped elements passing through it and circles to soften the bold lines and add texture.

The colour palette is natural yet highlighted for a more vibrate appeal.

At Cire Community School ā€“ Monbulk, students wrapped up last year with street art workshops in the morning and a collaborative mural celebrating learning in a fun, visual way at the end of the day.

Books, science, basketballs and computers all came together in the artwork, showing that learning happens in many forms, and creativity belongs in every subject.
