Today’s pace: Office admin, client calls, showroom visits and finalising material selections before we move into documentation.

A lot of the design process happens behind the scenes; reviewing samples, resolving finishes, refining drawings and making sure every selection works cohesively before anything is built. It’s the less glamorous side of interiors, but often the most important.

The first iteration of a bathroom designed to feel immersive, restrained and quietly luxurious.

Rich natural stone, softened forms and a tonal palette layered to create depth, warmth and permanence. Every detail is being considered with intention, refining the balance between hotel-inspired luxury and the intimacy of home.

Furniture curation days are easily one of our favourite parts of the process. Layering texture, shape, tone and pieces that make a home feel considered, collected and lived in.

The magic is always in the mix. ✨

The original masters of stone, symmetry & atmosphere.

Visited the ROME: Empire, Power, People exhibition at Melbourne Museum this week and couldn’t stop thinking about how much ancient Roman design still shapes interiors today.

From dramatic stone surfaces and symmetry, to archways, layered textures and immersive spatial experiences, so many elements we associate with “luxury” trace back centuries.

What stood out most was how intentional Roman spaces felt. Interiors weren’t just functional; they were designed to evoke emotion, status, calm and ritual. Something we still strive for in modern homes today.

It’s interesting how the most timeless interiors often borrow from the past rather than chasing trends.

Contrast in stone selection can completely shift the feeling of a space.
The softness of the lighter flooring against the depth and movement of the darker stone creates tension, warmth, and a sense of balance all at once.

Rather than everything blending into one tone, the variation allows each material to speak for itself, enhancing texture, form, and atmosphere in a much more considered way.

We’re always drawn to interiors that feel layered, not flat. Quietly bold details like this are what give a space longevity.

Some spaces aren’t designed to shout.
They’re designed to settle you.

Warm light, reflective steel, deep stone and soft tonal layering, creating a kitchen that feels equally functional and atmospheric.

A space designed for slow mornings, long dinners and everyday living.
