I literally stopped, frozen in the middle of my living-room when the spark of inspo for this one hit my brain, just out of nowhere! I don't even remember what I had been in the middle of doing at the time...because whatever I'd been previously doing didn't matter any more...

So...this experiment was with thicker wire than I plan to use in future, but I still kinda like it. This one will end up growing out of my next empty spice jar...because that just feels right. LOL

I've made a few pairs of earrings of this (or similar) design, but showing you the pair I've made for myself, as that's the one pair that is not in the pile of projects that just need the last little bits of finishing/tidying. Also, because of the colour and texture combo, this particular pair is my personal favourite...which, I guess, is why they ended up being mine. LOL

This is the last one I get to post before Valentine's day. I have mixed feelings about that in a whay, I think. I'd love to share more with you, but I'm also looking forward to a glorious weekend of peace and quiet to myself, where more of this can be the focus. I'm happy that my final share before the weekend gets to be something wonderfully fluffy!

While I have some fabulous heart charms, I love the process of making, and these fluffy hearts were something I wanted to make, and then turn into something cute and wearable. Also, I hadn't yet posted any earrings, except the chilli earrings I recently made for myself, so decided to combine those two things.
Image description. Silver hoop earrings, with a fluffy red loveheart made from pipe-cleaner connected to them with a silver paperclip. Threaded through/around all of these parts, in a way that is not easy to visually describe, is a loopy, dangly, purple chain of yarn.

To be honest, placing value on my work - saying it has worth - is something I have always found difficult.
(I'm sure there is a lot of bu****it that I have internalised that contributes to that, but I won't unpack all of that here... at least not today.)
So anyway, I'm still in the process of overthinking pricing for my creations. I need to start putting together a rough price-list soon. I'm thinking about doing a sliding scale (a price range, so that someone with less money can pay the lower end of the options I give.) I've seen it done before, and I like that pricing model.

This is rather cute, if I say so myself... and so fluffy! Like seriously, I can not emphasise enough how fluffy this is! The process of making anything with this kind of yarn is quite soothing, if I'm honest.
