A small box arrived today.
I was having more chai glasses sent, so I topped up with some extra treasure for the Easter market that I’m now not doing…

When I work via photo ordering like this… I’m never quite sure what I’m going to get.
There are some sinhasan in this lot, that I believed were a standard size.
They are not. They are tiny.

They are still beautiful, but not at all as expected… just like life sometimes.

We were rained out of today’s market 🫠

An early exit in a downpour, and a 45min drive home to start unpacking the car and hanging everything out to dry- including wet tablecloths, soaking rugs, a marquee, and saturated tent walls.

Of course the sun is now shining, and the garage currently looks like a Chinese laundry 🙄…. not nearly as idyllic as this clifftop washing set up in Goa 🌸.

Vintage arch mirrors are back in stock in pretty blues and greens, and of course… rustic white.

Whilst you can order these in bulk, I handpick them individually and carry them home with me ✨
It means they are all lovely, and I can keep the cost low!

Turns out the dads upcoming holiday will overlap on the upcoming Byron Markets- Easter-Blues Fest-weekend 🫠

I made a post about an hour ago, lovingly describing how a kantha quilt is made, and how I carefully selected each piece…… and it disappeared whilst I was mothering!

Truly don’t have anymore energy for recreating it….

The new additions last night were snapped up quickly and I’ll be busy packaging them for you today.

My plan to spend the rest of the day photographing the kantha quilts has however fallen with the rain.
No sun, no light…. Not possible to capture the beauty of the colours and textures….

Shall burn incense, listen to a murdery podcast and enjoy not hearing my child stomping about for the first time all week, while I wrap and pack instead…..

I have piles of stock to photograph and list online later today, and I’ve a boot load of orders ready to send….

*FYI finding boxes and packaging to accommodate some items or the combination of items … can be a challenge 🤣

Meanwhile favourite son has left the country for a holiday with friends…
which in mum-world raises the level of anxiety a notch!
