Things have been pretty quiet on the braiding front and I realised I haven't posted in a while - mostly because I haven't had any new creations to share!

A little late getting this notice up but if you're waiting for the postie to bring your braids then you might be waiting a little longer than usual!
Earlier in the week we received an absolutely astonishing amount of rain, over 14 inches in just a few days, a lot of roads were cut and not only did it affect my ability to get to the post office but it also halted outgoing post for a few days!
Things are returning to normal now, and it's wonderful to see some full dams & lush green grass about 🙂

Good weather for braiding leather! You know it’s getting real when your thongs float away and the turtles are looking for high ground 😅

It's 42 here and a bit humid so definitely not much braiding happening, I'd simply stick to the leather if I tried!
Currently all sales from my etsy store will go directly towards funding an air conditioner for Bush Braids HQ 🤣 (not really, I'll probably just buy more leather 🫣 )

Not much braiding happening tonight, it was off to photograph the Aurora Australis instead! Given the lack of tripod I had to make-do with the buggy roof 😅 Not ideal but getting a shot of it this far noth (Between Murgon & Gayndah, QLD) was pretty thrilling
