This is my backyard - I thought I would show you the vastness of Bool Lagoon from Big Hill- it’s around 3000 Hectares in size and a Ramsar listed wetland. I highly recommend visiting while the reed growth is minimal.

So you have a jelly roll, but you don’t know what to do with it? The simplest thing to do is just sew all the strips together! Easy! There are lots of great patterns that are ‘Jelly Roll Friendly’, meaning, the quilt pattern includes the use of jelly roll strips to make the quilt design. This can also incorporate a bit of meterage or other precuts or maybe one to two jelly rolls. There should be a run down of what’s required on the back of your quilt pattern and if you have any questions, we can certainly help you out! Check out all the quilt patterns we’ve identified as being ‘Jelly Roll Friendly’ and make your selection for Jelly Roll Day! The first quilt pictured is the ‘Phoebe’ quilt by Kitchen Table Quilting that Fleur made a couple of years ago and it’s still one of her all time favourite patterns! Happy rolling! Link in bio!
