Episode Seven - Born Guilty - The Price of the Silver Spoon

He built it from nothing.

Or close enough to nothing that the distance between where he started and where he stands now is the defining fact of his life.

Every decision made under pressure.
Every sacrifice that didn’t make the family photo.
Every year he was present in body and somewhere else entirely.
In the worry, the planning, the relentless forward motion of a man who understood at a cellular level what it feels like to not have enough.

He knows the edge.
He knows exactly how fast it can disappear because he watched it built inch by inch from ground that wasn’t solid and then he watches his children receive it.

Effortlessly.
As a given.
As the water they swim in - invisible, assumed, unremarkable.
And something in him - something he would never say at a dinner table, something he can barely admit to himself - feels the distance between what it cost him and what it costs them.

He loves them.

Completely and somewhere underneath that love is something that looks uncomfortably like jealousy.

Not of their wealth.
Of their ease.
Of the fact that they get to have what he had to bleed for.

Nobody in this family stole anything overnight.

There was no single great betrayal — the
kind you could point to and say, there.
That’s where it went wrong.

Every generation just watched what the last one got away with and calculated they could
take a little more.

That’s not betrayal in a single act.
It’s betrayal as compound interest.

It doesn’t cost you all at once.
It accrues — quietly, patiently, across decades — until the debt is so large nobody can remember whose it was to begin with.

And by the third or fourth generation, what started as one relative’s quiet manoeuvre has
become a grandchild’s entitlement.
Dressed up, respectably, as a business plan.

The paperwork gets signed quietly. Directorships assigned without ceremony. The family’s solicitors — the ones who have held the history for sixty years, who remember every verbal agreement that never made it onto paper — replaced.

Just like that.
A new firm, with no memory of any of it.

The father isn’t only losing control.
He’s losing the one relationship that still remembers who he is and what this family has survived.

THE DAUGHTERS WHO DISAPPEARED

The daughters in this story keep disappearing from it.

Written out while the manoeuvring happens around them.
Watching their brothers inherit
land and houses while they inherit proximity to the conversation and nothing more.

You get a phone call.
The person on the other end says something’s happened.
Someone you love is in hospital.
Unresponsive and they don’t know why.
And in that moment — before you’ve even processed what you’ve just heard — something else happens underneath it.
Something the family has never had to face before.
The person who always knew what to do, doesn’t know anymore.
Or isn’t there to ask.
And the family discovers, for the first time, that everything they thought was structure was actually just one person.
This is the Health Crisis Catalyst.
Not the illness itself.
Not the loss itself.
But what the illness or the loss reveals about what was never built underneath it.

They weren’t angry at each other.
They were angry at the person nobody was allowed to be angry at.
The sibling just happened to be in the room.

This is what the Communication Chasm actually looks like inside a dynasty family.
Not silence.
Not the absence of conversation.
The conversations never stop.

There are meetings and dinners and phone calls and messages and heated exchanges that go on for hours.
But understanding erodes with every single one.

Something is moving.

As I begin welcoming the first women into The Family Field and feel the energy of this circle forming

I can feel there are two more Mothers who belong here.

I could begin with who I have and it will be beautiful regardless.

But I feel two more.

If you’ve been watching this space.
Reading these words.
Feeling something stir but not quite moving
I want you to know that feeling is not an accident.

This container was built for a specific woman.

Conscious. Ready. Done waiting for the right time.

And the right time is now, because there isn’t another round after this one.

We begin soon and the doors close with it.
If something in you is saying yes
I’d love to have a conversation before we close.

Drop me a DM and let’s discuss. 🫶🏼

The cycle doesn’t break itself.

Someone has to choose and that choosing, that moment of deciding it ends with you,
is one of the loneliest, most courageous things a person can do.

Because nobody applauds the cycle breaker.

The family doesn’t throw a party.

Some of them won’t even understand what you’re doing or why.

But you know.

You’ve known for a while.

The Family Field starts next Wednesday.
Six weeks. Two spots left.

It’s for the Mother who has already decided, who just needs the room, the support and the work to match the decision she’s already made in her body.

Not sure?
Listen to Episode 3 first. ⬇️

If it doesn’t move something in you, this isn’t your room.

If it does, you already have your answer.

Doors close this weekend.

That is the beginning of working with the line. Not analysing it from outside, feeling, where it lives in you and starting from there to move it.

You didn’t come to this work by accident.

The ancestor who wakes up to the line is rarely the one who had the easiest time in the family.

They are usually the one the system marked as too much or not enough, or simply different in a way no one had language for.

That was never the problem it looked like.

That was the bloodline producing exactly the person it needed.

You are not here to repeat what was handed to you.
You are here to work with it.

Consciously, deliberately, on behalf of everyone who came before you who couldn’t and everyone who comes after you, who won’t have to.

This is what’s inside The Bloodline.

The free episodes open the door.

This is what’s on the other side.

If this landed somewhere in your body — you already know.

This is exactly what happens when we outsource the emotional work without building the literacy ourselves.

The cycle continues, quietly, faithfully, completely undisturbed, because nobody with the ability to interrupt it ever learned how.

She chose to stay knowing,
knowing something was wrong,
knowing it needed attention,
knowing that current approach wasn’t working and she stayed there in the knowing without going further.

That is not a solution.

That is the most sophisticated form of avoidance available to a capable woman and it is an abdication of the most important power she has.

You were powerful enough to create this
The pattern, the transmission, the cycle.
