Solid bones with zero flow. It’s a common issue with older homes, and it’s exactly what we have been unravelling in our Wahroonga project. We are currently deep in the Design Development stage for these alterations and additions. The early concepts have taken shape, and we been carefully testing the building form, proportions and materiality for this bushfire prone house. The existing brickwork offers a beautiful, heavy grounding, which contrasts with new expansive gable openings, to better connect with the surrounding bushland and garden.
