MATERIAL SELECTIONS … completed ☑️ for upcoming kitchen, laundry, powder-room and kids playroom renovation.

All materials sourced from local Bayside businesses. Making it easy for my client to take samples and see how they felt in her own home.

It’s an integral step to check selections in your own space. Natural light and environment changes tones and colour. Colours look different in changing lights. Make sure you like your selections in the morning, afternoon and evening under artificial light. Lay them in the rooms they will be installed.

It won’t be right the first time, be prepared to return, re-select and repeat till it feels right.

Featuring generous hems and just touching the carpet emphasises the elegant look.

The birch colour sits gently between the wall and carpet tones. Another gorgeous timeless and enduring transformation. I love it.

Artwork setting the tone for this master and ensuite face-lift. This original David Bromley piece was the backbone for all our selection decisions.

The client wanted the space to be light-filled, calm and soothing. The artwork and bedside tables were the only dark pieces - all other selections were light. A little bit of dark anchors the space. I ❤️it.

Maxing out the gorgeous porcelain on this custom-made vanity.

Wrapping it up for the splashback and down to create a drop-face.

Not only is it beautiful but incredibly durable - scratch resistant, heat resistant and stain resistant. Mums with teenage daughters take note - stress less over tanning products.

Installing a new full width highlight window provides the much needed privacy the clients wanted.

From a design perspective it allowed me to install a generous sized walk-in shower at 1050mm wide.

It’s a sensory thing, but stepping into the shower now feels luxurious and a little bit decadent.

These over-sized travertine look porcelain tiles reflect the light, make the room feel brighter, create visual space and bring a sense of calm and comfort.

Used on all walls and floor, tiled to the ceiling. At 1200x600mm these babies are the largest tiles I have specified. Fewer grout lines and easier to clean.
