A little note from behind the pink barn doors…
Alot of you have seen the stories about Maddy the Caddy.
She was hit while parked, and seeing the footage of it happen was honestly pretty awful.

For now, she is off the road, and I’m still working through what happens next.
It has been one of those things that feels like another blow in a season that has already had more than enough going on behind the scenes.

So if Hidden Florist has been a little quieter on socials over the last few days, that is why.
I’ve just been trying to manage the real-life side of running a business.
The calls.
The insurance.
The orders.
The deliveries.
The problem-solving.
The deep breaths in between.
But I really wanted to say thank you.
For every message.
Every kind word.
Every bit of care.
Every person who checked in, sent love, or simply understood that sometimes things are a lot.

It has meant more than you know.

Hidden Florist is still here.
Flowers are still going out.
Orders are still being created with care.
And I am still here, doing my best to keep delivering happiness, even on the days that feel a little heavier than usual.

Thank you for being such a kind community around this little flower shop.

Same day flower delivery in Sunbury, Diggers Rest, Gisborne and Lancefield was very much happening today.

Today was one of those days where the car barely had time to sit still.
Wholesalers first.
Back to the shop.
Orders made.
Flowers wrapped.
Candles packed.
Cards written.
Chocolates added.
Then out the door again.

We had deliveries heading to Diggers Rest, Sunbury, Gisborne and Lancefield, with some seriously beautiful orders going out.
Not just flowers either.
There were candles, cards, chocolates and those little thoughtful extras that turn a delivery into a proper gift.
That is the part I love.

Someone places an order online or over the phone, and by the time it leaves Hidden Florist, it has become part of someone’s day.
A birthday.
A thank you.
A sympathy gesture.
A “thinking of you.”
A little surprise arriving at the door when someone least expects it.

So yes, the car & van have been out and about today.

Looking for a cymbidium orchid floral arrangements to be delivered in Sunbury, Diggers Rest or The Macedon Ranges?

For the person who doesn’t want soft and sweet… but still wants something beautiful.

This may look like a table centre, but it was never meant to sit between guests.

This is a little throwback to when we created flowers for Witchmount, back in the days when Hidden Florist was doing more event and venue work.

This piece was photographed on a table, but it was actually designed to sit on barrels around the venue.
And that matters.

Because not every floral arrangement needs to be low, neat or tucked politely into the middle of a table.
Some flowers are there to create impact.
To soften corners.
To bring colour into the room.
To make the venue feel more romantic, more styled and more considered before guests have even sat down.

This arrangement had soft Phalaenopsis orchids, classic roses, disbud chrysanthemums, foliage and plenty of movement.
It was full.
Textured.
A little dramatic.
And made to be noticed.

That is what I love about venue flowers.
They are not just flowers in a vase.
They are part of how the whole room feels.
Placed in the right spot, they can turn a barrel, a bar, an entrance or a quiet corner into something beautiful.

We still create smaller event and venue flowers by request, but availability is very limited and every piece is designed around your date, venue, colours, placement and what is seasonally available.

Good restaurants serve amazing food.
Good florists help create the feeling before the first glass is poured.

This floral piece was created for Squires Loft earlier this year, and I still love how beautifully it sat in the space.
Deep purples.
Rich greens.
A little drama.
A little softness.

And just enough movement to feel like it belonged beside the bar, the menus, the lights and the hum of a restaurant getting ready for the night ahead.

When I carried this one down the street,
it got comments before it even arrived.

And that is the thing about flowers.
People notice them.
They may not always know the flower names.
They may not know the mechanics behind the arrangement.
But they feel the difference.
They feel when a space has been cared for.
They feel when a restaurant has thought about more than just the food on the plate.

This one smells like clean skin, salty air & pretending you’re somewhere warmer than Melbourne.

ECOYA’s new Sea Salt & Coconut has landed at Hidden Florist, and she is already looking very pretty on the shelf.

It’s soft, fresh and coastal without being too sweet.
A little creamy from the coconut.
