For a long time, I believed that if I was struggling to show up for my creativity, it meant I needed more discipline.
More motivation.
More consistency.
More willpower.
But over time, I became curious about what was sitting beneath the resistance.
Because when something feels deeply meaningful, it can also feel deeply vulnerable.
What if I can't pull it off?
What if I don't like what I create?
What if I put my heart into this and it doesn't turn out the way I hoped?
I've come to realise that many of the things we label as procrastination, avoidance, or creative blocks aren't always trying to stop us.
Sometimes they're trying to protect us.
Protect us from disappointment.
Judgement.
Vulnerability.
The possibility of seeing ourselves more honestly.
