Beneath cloudy skies, surrounded by old gums, open paddocks and the quiet rhythm of country life, today’s Cawdor Markets reminded us what markets are really about — community.
Cawdor carries a beautiful rural story. Once part of the historic Cowpastures, its landscape has long been shaped by farming, cattle, wheat and dairying — a little pocket of Country heritage..
And today, that spirit felt very much alive.
There were handmade treasures, colourful stalls, wagging tails, conversations between strangers and locals choosing to wander, discover and support small businesses — even when the sun decided not to show up.
For TLS, these are the days we love most.
Taking our pieces out into the world.
Meeting beautiful people.
Sharing stories.
Supporting fellow makers.
And watching a little marketplace come alive in a paddock beneath a winter sky.

Sutton Forest wrapped itself in fog this morning, but by midday the sun found us—as did so many beautiful conversations.
Every market is a reminder that the best treasures aren’t just collected from afar... they’re the moments shared along the way.

The skies may have been a little drizzly, but the atmosphere couldn’t have been warmer. There’s something special about returning to a market where the familiar faces feel more like family than customers.

A day filled with chats, laughter, loyal supporters, new connections, plenty of pats for four-legged visitors, and beautiful conversations about handmade pieces collected from afar. That’s what makes it all worthwhile.

First time at The Oaks Market and what a lovely experience! ✨
June has been a busy month for TLS Handmade, but every market brings new opportunities to connect, share our wares and meet wonderful people.
