US Marine .50 Cal Starlight Gunner – Khe Sanh 1968

Inspired by the photograph of a Marine manning a scoped M2 .50 cal during the 1968 siege. The set includes the figure, an M2 with AN/TVS-2 type starlight scope, tripod, ammo belt and four ammo boxes.

M252 mortar with two tubes, flat and spade baseplates, bipod and sight. Four-man crew: section leader, gunner, assistant gunner and ammo bearer.

Plus a full am******on and stowage loadout: 36 rounds, 60 packing tubes (open, loaded and sealed), five double ammo containers and three timber crates. Enough for a mortar pit, a resupply scene or extra stowage on a vehicle build.

Developed in collaboration with 11 Charlie Scale Modeling, whose designer is a former US Army 11C indirect fire infantryman who served in Iraq with 4th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.

The four-man US mortar crew — Section Leader, Gunner, Assistant Gunner and Ammo Bearer — was designed by a former US Army 11C Indirect Fire Infantryman who served in Iraq in 2007–08 with the 4th Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division. He's done the job these figures are doing, and it shows in the poses, kit and detail.

The crew comes with a detailed M252 81mm mortar, two baseplates and a full am******on and stowage loadout: bombs, tubes, greenies and timber crates. It's everything you need for a mortar pit or resupply scene.

Available now in 1/35 and 1/48 scale.
