It’s journey begins in the sun drenched olive groves of Türkiye and ends in our Sydney warehouse. In between, there’s a whole lot of craft.

From extracting olive oil to triple milling, pressing and shaping, every Saardé Soap Bar passes through a considered process before it finds its way to your bathroom sink.

We have always believed a good table feels generous, not perfect.

Food made to be shared, flowers gathered on the way home, a bottle opened before anyone asks and plenty of time to linger afterwards.

Over the years, these are the little things we’ve come back to whenever we have people over.

A good meal leaves traces.

Napkins marked with sauce. Olive oil on your hands. Salt caught on your fingertips. Crumbs scattered across the table. The small remnants of a meal that linger long after everyone has left it.

For us, food has always been a way of experiencing a place. The markets, the local ingredients and family brought together over home cooked food. Our travels through Türkiye and Europe have shaped much of the Saardé world, where the everyday is rooted in the places, people and traditions that have stayed with us.

What happens when architecture becomes something you can hold?

When designing the Kairos Collection, Verity Kizek was inspired by the enduring forms of Greek architecture. The columns, curves, symmetry and sense of proportion that have shaped ancient Greece for generations.

Alongside them, she found the softer, more delicate forms of traditional Italian glassware.

The two meet in Kairos: architectural in its beginnings, fluid in its finish, and brought to life in handblown glass. A collection where ancient forms find their way into our everyday.

One bar of soap, thousands of years of olive-growing heritage.

On the sun drenched Aegean coast of Türkiye, olive trees have shaped the landscape, the food and history for generations. It’s here, on a picturesque olive farm, that our natural olive oil soap begins its story.

There is something wonderfully simple about the way it is made. The soap is triple milled, passing through the mill three times to remove excess moisture and create a bar made to last. And then there is the shape. The first bars were made with clean, straight edges. One day, a bar was accidentally dropped. The softened, rounded edges were loved more than the original, and so the shape stayed.

Today, each bar is still shaped by hand, giving every piece its own uniqueness

The quieter hours at Rosebery. As the afternoon light softens and the garden breeze drifts through the store, everything slows a little.

Rosebery Engine Yards pays homage to the neighbourhood’s history as one of Sydney’s first planned suburbs, where factories were built to make and service the growing city. Today, the old industrial spaces have found a new rhythm, home to makers, designers and new kinds of craft.

It feels fitting that Saardé has found a home here.

For The EVE Hotel, we created a collection of everyday rituals: shampoo, conditioner and a scented hand soap

A considered extension of the Saardé world into hospitality, where scent, texture and the smallest details become part of how a place is remembered.
