I couldn’t resist!

Every fibre of my being says “It’s way too early to do Christmas!!!”

But these little ceramic cottages are just too fun to hide until December.

They disappeared super fast last year. I managed to order more last time but I wouldn’t be able to guarantee it this time.

So if you’ve been waiting to add to your collection, it’s game on.

Or jingle bells on, rather.

Twins!

Michelle and I did a double-take when we saw each other this morning.

This was not planned.

🤣🤣🤣

But it’s a great shirt. Maybe we should make it the Beautiful Things, Beecroft uniform??

It actually does make sense that Michelle & I both chose a pure cotton print shirt today.

The forecast was for 36 degrees and we both had to feel cool and comfortable. Able to move. Able to work hard all day.

I am super proud of the range of beautiful, practical and natural fabrics we have this season.

Come & choose a few for yourself.

Well aren’t we having a bit of a beautiful cotton moment this season?

The lightweight fabrics we prioritised back in buying season have proven spot on.

Everyone is loving the range of prints, from chocolates to brights and some in-between greens.

As we hit the heat, so many customers are asking for our lightweights linens and pure cottons.

☀️☀️☀️

Come and grab a handful of beautiful, soft and breathable tops & pants for yourself.

Our quality means that your garments will soften and improve after washing rather than shrinking or distorting like cheaper synthetics and blends.

Drop by when you’re next at the shops.

But beware.

As the days get hot, these pretties will fly out the door fast.

One of my headless ladies is wearing the most stylish outfit this week.

It’s a fresh, contemporary combination of garments by Megan Salmon (WA) and Foil (NZ).

The white cropped overshirt works well on diverse body shapes because it provides a neat neckline, smart shoulders, and then skims the chest.

Layer it. Wear it with a skirt. Works with jeans. Have it as a summer piece over a sleeveless dress.

And find it in store! Jessica is here this week to show you how to have fun with this clever Megan Salmon design.

I asked my very special colleague, Lisa, which brooches from the new collection she loved the most. These are her top choice.

Lisa said, “In the new collection, the attention to detail is just exquisite. They are colourful, joyful interpretations of Australian flora and fauna.

“The perfect way to brighten up an outfit and connect with nature, these brooches are both stylish and fun.”

I value Lisa’s thoughts on the brooches and floral items we have in store. She has particular expertise in artworks that use or are inspired by flowers.

Lisa is an accomplished and acclaimed artist who specialises in work featuring Australian flowers.

Her particular focus is cyanotypes — an early form of photography which she uses to create ethereally beautiful blue images of flannel flowers, grasses, poppies and hydrangeas.

I often have the joy of Lisa’s artwork in the window of the store. We also stock her cards and her beautiful gold-framed cyanotypes, many of which she also embroiders.

Lisa chose one of the blue spotted sun orchid as one of her favourite brooches. It’s the same hauntingly beautiful blues as the colours in her artworks.

You will find Lisa’s work here:

Please come in and see a large range of these exquisite brooches soon. They are packaged as beautifully as they are made. And with Christmas coming, they are going fast.

Affordable and highly desirable gifts like these always disappear off my shelves.

This is an “Are you serious??” sale.

I have a lot of summer clothing coming so it’s time to say goodbye to the last of the bestsellers from winter and early spring.

All those lovely things on the rack outside are 50% off their already reduced prices.

Yep — they are HALF of whatever the discounted price is.

Time to grab the things you’ve been keeping an eye on because they are all now half as much.

Enjoy!
