This is the Foundation Paper Pieced Star Sampler quilt pattern. 32 unique stars. This one uses 6 inch templates. But now the blocks are available in the 12 inch size. Think of it as a library of star patterns that you have on hand. Embed the blocks in your small projects like table runners, pillow covers or pot holders or make a whole quilt out of them.

Each star uses 2 or 3 contrasting colours plus a background. This avoids decision fatigue.

These foundation paper pieced pincushions are such a fun and practical beginner sewing project.

This pattern set includes 8 unique pincushion designs, grouped into 2 bundles of 4. The pattern includes the fpp templates as well instructions to turn them into pincushions.

They make thoughtful handmade gifts for sewing friends, retreat swaps, or a fun weekend project for yourself.

I stuffed mine with crushed walnut shells for extra weight and added a little poly stuffing on top for softness. You can also use tiny fabric scraps as an alternative filling, making this a great scrap busting sewing project too.

This collection is a resized version of my original Foundation Paper Pieced Star Sampler quilt pattern, featuring 32 unique star blocks at a generous 12" finished size for quilters who prefer working with larger blocks.

With 32 unique foundation paper pieced quilt blocks, 3 quilt layouts, and endless other layout possibilities, this collection can be used to create full quilts, table runners, pillow covers, mini quilts, and more. Think of it as your own library of star quilt blocks ready for future projects.

None of the blocks are overly difficult, with no Y seams or partial seams to worry about. Each block is designed to be approachable while still giving you striking star designs. All you need is 2 to 3 colours plus a background fabric for each block, making this a stash friendly and scrap friendly quilting project.

These are just 4 of the 32 star blocks included in my new pattern Foundation Paper Pieced Star Sampler quilt.

None of the blocks are difficult to construct and the project would suit a confident beginner foundation paper piecer.

Make them in a rainbow palette like my sample or choose a more restricted colour palette.

You only need 2 to 3 colour fabrics per block plus a background fabric. This reduces decision fatigue.

A quilt layout with assembly instructions is included to turn these blocks into a finished project or use these blocks in other projects like table runners, cushions, mug rugs or tote bags.

These images show the close ups of the blocks. The pattern contains 32 unique blocks, 6 inches in size. I made mine in a rainbow palette but swipe through to see mockups in different colour palettes.

You can also use these blocks in other projects too. It's a great resource to have 32 different star blocks in your pattern library.
