During January 2023, I had the results of a cat scan and a new diagnosis on my back condition. Spinal stenosis, and worsening disc degeneration was the conclusion. (I have a permanently sore back, and limitations and unable to sit all day now). My son was also granted NDIS funding for early intervention regarding speech delay ADHD and suspected ASD. Life is now busy with candles and melts, photography and my son's appointments on Thursdays. Being a Capricorn (the slow and steady hard worker) this has been a hard journey and sad news regarding my back. I can no longer sit all day or lift moderately heavy things anymore, wiping out my ability to have and keep most mainstream jobs! I have been relatively busy since 2020 with professional photography (studying Dipl. of Photography & Photo Imaging in 2021) and busy with weddings and elopements around Adelaide. I enjoy photographing my own products! I am also now a contract freelance photographer with AirBNB for property shoots around Adelaide and I'm enjoying it very much. Having a relatively quiet life at home during the week had been tough over 2022 in-between recovering from a sore back after trying to get back into any work I could. This lead to my pondering a new business I can focus on. My love of sculptured candles has led to the creation of this new business. After my first hand pour of some sculptured candles, I was hooked!
