we quietly honour something a little different.

Across Victoria, flower farmers have been working through extreme heat and the impact of fires in the country, continuing to tend, harvest and care for their crops with quiet determination. Their work matters, now more than ever.

Today, our thoughts are with our Victorian flower farmers.

With catastrophic conditions forecast, fierce winds and soaring heat, many are holding their breath, tending land and livelihoods that sit at the mercy of a powerful Mother Nature. These are real people, with families, businesses, and years of care invested in the soil.

At Ardrie, we care deeply for those who grow the beauty we are privileged to design with. Today is about safety first, and quiet gratitude for the hands that nurture our blooms, even on the hardest days.

As the season draws to a close, our final designs are heading to women who hold so much for others.

Professional women leading teams, welcoming clients, gathering family around Christmas tables, creating spaces of care while carrying full lives.

This morning, Kirsten McMahon, Founder and Principal Designer of Ardrie, was out in the country collecting freshly harvested blooms from a local flower farm. By afternoon, they’re back in the studio, designed with intention, ready to be delivered into hair salons alive with last-minute appointments, and homes preparing for Christmas gatherings.

Locally grown / Thoughtfully designed.

A quiet gesture of calm and beauty for the spaces you lead — while you continue to hold space for everyone else.
