This one was a pretty special delivery!

A very happy, slightly, well a lot late Father’s Day post for my dad..

Andrew been behind the wheel for 38 years. He got his start from Stan Elliott back in November ‘89, and over the years has driven for Lewtons, Canny’s, and now Lawsons, he’s carted everything from livestock to machinery, produce, w**e, fert, grain and everything in between.

He started interstate at just 24, which means a hell of a lot of years, kilometres and nights spent sleeping away from home in a truck.

For Father’s Day this year, I gave Dad one of our Premium Latex Core mattresses, and we’ve finally got around to fitting it into his current 909.

After 38 years on the road, he might finally get a decent night’s sleep in the truck. 😂

With a 10-year warranty, i’d like to think he will retire before his mattress does!!

This time in a premium latex for Jack Seeney FM Volvo.
This mattress is a full custom with lots of cut out around the fridge and being asymmetrical best part about being fully custom is you can measure the whole space you want to fill not just the size of the original mattress you are replacing!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Andrew Muscat, who purchased some Long Haul Luxury mattresses, including 2 Premium latex mattresses for his own truck.
Andrew was particularly interested in our natural latex-core construction, with no internal springs, meaning there's no chance of inner springs rubbing against the back wall of his bunk.

A NEW PRODUCT FOR LONG HAUL LUXURY BRAND
What made this order particularly special was catching up with Andrew and his son Cohen at the Casino Truck Show, where we had the opportunity to measure up the top bunk and develop something new that we hadn't seen on the market before.

Andrew regularly takes Cohen on the road during school holidays and to truck shows, so we set out to create something specifically for him — our very first Premium Top Bunk mattress.
We've taken our most popular Premium mattress and developed a thinner version featuring a natural latex core, designed specifically for the limited space of a top bunk without compromising on comfort or support. The result is a custom mattress that provides the comfort of our Premium range while still allowing the top bunk to fold away as intended.

Andrew has since shared some wonderful feedback. Both mattresses fit perfectly, and the reduced thickness of his bottom mattress has also allowed him to access all the switches on his custom air panel.

As for Cohen, Andrew tells us he reckons his new mattress is even more comfortable than his bed at home!
