Lovely friend, Kate Belton, has invited me to take over this little corner of her gallery at Tinkat Alley Art Studio., for a few weeks. The gallery space is a 'must see' when visiting the westside of Lake Maccquarie

Rob Spedding is the artist whose works are behind the ceramics, I think they go well together!

The Old Station Masters Cottage, 4 Wallsend Rd, Fassifern, open from Thursday to Saturday 10 am - 4 pm.

There's a huge variety of art and art styles to see and choose from, created by some fabulous local Lake Macquarie artists! There's even a Gift Shop for some eclectic gifts and trinkets.

You win some...you lose some...

I'm preparing some work for a members exhibition at Back to Back Galleries, "Art Nouvea", happening in July.

I'm using these lovely ceramic transfers and a porcelain clay I've not used before.

The crack around the base, which I tried unsuccessfully to repair, means it's in the recycling bin...and onto the next one.

That's ceramics....!

I made these pieces for TRINITY an exhibition with 3 artists, Debra Ansell, Heather Campbell and I.

This work seeks to capture images of water, land and sky in an ethereal, illusionary way. The inspiration comes from looking across the lake on watery, rainy, mistty days.

I'll be at Newcastle Studio Potters & Back to Back Galleries tomorrow from 11am. Pop in if you're out n about in Newcastle!
