Cookidoo price change
🚨 A Cookidoo subscription update and what it actually means for you! 💚
For years, we Thermomix consultants have described Cookidoo as the Netflix of recipes. Thousands of recipes at your fingertips, inspiration for every meal and a whole lot of cooking made easier!
So when I started hearing about the upcoming subscription changes, I wanted to understand exactly what was happening.
And here’s the thing, many of us consultants are learning about this at the same time as our customers! So let me break it down as simply as I can👩🏻‍🍳
First things first, please don’t panic!
❌ Your Cookidoo subscription hasn’t suddenly been cancelled.
❌ You don’t lose access to your recipes overnight.
💚 If you’re on an existing subscription, you can continue cooking until your current expiry date.
The change is to the automatic renewal pricing, particularly for those who have been enjoying an older subscription price.
So what’s actually changing?
💚 If you’re already paying $89 per year, nothing changes for you!
That’s just $1.75 per week for access to thousands of recipes worldwide.
But if you’ve been paying $49 or $69 per year, here’s a little background.
Back in July 2024 the annual Cookidoo subscription price increased to $89.
At the time, existing customers were given the opportunity to retain their previous pricing for longer by setting up automatic renewal with their credit card details.
That means some customers have continued paying:
• $49 per year on the older v2 subscription
• $69 per year on Cookidoo v3
From 10 December, annual Cookidoo v3 renewals will be $89 for everyone.
If you’re a TM5 owner and still using Cookidoo v2, you can choose to remain on the older version and continue paying $49 per year.
Alternatively, you can upgrade to Cookidoo v3 and access the newer features available for TM6 and TM7 users.
What’s included in Cookidoo v3?
💚 Recipe scaling - adjust recipes to suit the number of people you’re cooking for.
đź’š Created Recipes - edit existing Cookidoo recipes or create your own recipes from scratch.
đź’š Cookidoo AI Assistant - helping make finding inspiration and cooking easier.
đź’š Language translation - currently available between English, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and French, with more languages to come!
And behind the scenes there’s ongoing recipe development, testing, quality assurance, translation and investment in new functionality.
All of these things contribute to the subscription price.
I know any price change can raise questions, particularly when you’ve been enjoying a lower price for years. I wanted to share what I’ve learned so we can all understand what’s happening.
