This one came with a little frustration… and A LOT of frogging. 😭🧶

There was a paid pattern available for this vase, but I didn’t buy it. Instead, I tried to recreate it by matching the picture and figuring everything out on my own. By this point, creating my own patterns had almost become my thing—although I definitely didn’t love how many times I had to frog to create one. 😂

At the time, I just counted all that extra work as a lesson. But looking back now, I realize… I really should’ve charged extra for creating the pattern too! 😭😂

My first-ever crochet flower. ❄️🥹

I was so happy when I received this order, but then came the familiar problem—I couldn’t find a pattern for the vase my customer wanted. So, I did what I’ve somehow learned to do along this journey… I created one myself. 🧶✨

And the sweetest part? While making it , i learned the flower was called Forget-Me-Not, I couldn’t help but smile. 🥹💙

This one wasn’t an order—it was made for a group challenge, where we were all asked to make a bag and share it with everyone. 🧶💗

I always get a little anxious while making bags because the shape has to be just right. But this one? Everything came together perfectly—the shape, the design, the colors… and I’m honestly so proud of the choices I made. 🥹

Sharing it with the group and seeing everyone appreciate it made me even happier. 🌷
One of those little projects that reminded me, “Maybe I’m actually getting better at this.”🥹🧶

This was the order that made me realize… maybe I can actually do this. 🥹🌈

It was my first-ever order from outside my family, and it came all the way from Dhaka! So not only was I nervous about making such a big piece, I was also about to have my first experience with Steadfast. 😭

At first, everything about it felt so puzzling and impossible. My nervous system definitely decided to make the whole thing even harder for me. 😂 But somehow, stitch by stitch, I got through it.

And when I finally finished it and heard that the customer loved it… I honestly can't explain that feeling. 🥹💗

My first outside family order.

My first Dhaka order.

My first Steadfast experience.

And one more little “I actually did it” moment.

Alhamdulillah. 🤍

Looking back now, this piece feels like more than just a crochet order—it reminds me of the girl who was scared to start, but did it anyway. 🧶🌷

✨ The Best of Fall In Crochet — Part 7 ✨

This was a set of 10 table mats and a huge runner, but what made this order extra special was the pattern. 💙

The customer wanted a round design, but I couldn't find a pattern that matched what they had in mind. The only reference I had was a square version, so I decided to take inspiration from that and create the round version myself.

I figured out the stitches, the shape, the rounds… basically, I had to build the pattern as I went. 😭🧶

And for the first time, I could honestly say:

This one wasn't just something I crocheted—I designed it. 🥹💙

It may not be a completely original concept from scratch, since I did use the square design as a reference, but creating the round pattern myself was still a huge moment for me.

Looking back, I'm still a little proud of this one. 🌼

✨ The Best of Fall In Crochet — Part 6✨

My second big order—10 table mats and one huge runner. 🧶🤎

And apparently, I still hadn’t learned my lesson from the first big order… because yes, I ran out of yarn again. 😭😂
And then came the same story: searching everywhere for the exact same color until, I found it at last.

But that wasn’t even the biggest struggle this time. 🥲

I made the white middle part of every mat first, and when I started working on the brown part, I noticed the white had already become a little dull. I tried everything to keep it clean. I’d wash my hands before working, kept everything inside a big clean poly bag whenever I wasn’t crocheting… but somehow, nothing worked. 😭

I washed them again and again until that white finally looked white again—and then I delivered them. 😂🤍

And after this order, I swear I used to get scared whenever someone chose white for their project. 😭😂🤍

Looking back, this order taught me so much about working on bigger projects… and apparently, I needed to learn the same yarn lesson twice. 😂🧶

Still one of those orders I’ll always remember. 💛

My very first crochet bag—and it was a customized order. 🥹💙🧶

This one will always have a special place in my crochet journey because it was the first time I made a bag for someone. I remember being so excited to see the idea come together, and I was really happy with how it turned out. 🌼

The only thing I was still figuring out back then was how to attach the chain. 😂 We all have those little things we learn along the way!

✨ The Best of Fall In Crochet — Part 4 ✨

This little prayer cap brings back so many memories. 🤍🧶

I’ve made quite a few prayer caps over the years, but at one point I decided I was going to stop taking orders for them. The shape was honestly so hard to get right, and the amount of time and effort they took didn’t really match the price I was charging. 🥲

Back then, I wanted to keep the price as low as possible because I knew that for many people, a higher price would make a handmade prayer cap unaffordable. So I kept making them at a price that wasn’t really fair to the amount of work that went into them.

But if anyone wants to order one now, I’d still love to make one for you. 🤎
Just keep in mind that the price will be a little higher than it used to be—because this time, I want to value the time and effort behind every stitch too. 🧶✨

Another little piece of my crochet journey, and a reminder of how much I’ve learned along the way. 🌼
