Gemstones are a very large part of my life and I am lucky enough to be surrounded by them! When a gem is touching you all of the time, you are getting the energy of the gem constantly. I wear several bracelets and pendants, so I literally wear my medicine bag around my body. Healing gemstones do not do you a lot of good if they are sitting on a shelf. You should be touching them as much as possible…working with them by holding them in your hand or placing them on your body is good, too, just like holding a gemstone during meditation. When my life is about to change, I usually know it is coming because I feel a very strong need to change them. When I no longer need to wear it or other piece of jewelry, they sometimes literally fall off my body. Over the years, I have worn many different combinations of gemstones and I have enjoyed them all. Jewelry is an excellent way to work with your gemstones! Crystal healing is an alternative medical technique in which crystals and other stones are used to cure ailments and protect against disease. Proponents of this technique believe that gemstones act as conduits for healing — allowing positive, healing energy to flow into the body as negative, disease-causing energy flows out. What is magical about my handmade collection is that they act as doorways. Some people who have worn these gemstone jewelry have told me they lived their whole lives in a little room (symbolically), and when they began to wear their bracelet/amulet, a door suddenly opened for them. Others have experienced the feeling of a door closing, allowing them to move ahead in their life.
