Back in action at Feasts and Friends at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Nundah again tonight, just in time for Father's Day! It finally feels like we have a healthy level of stock again - tonnes of leaf boards, an assortment of Huon that is still hanging around, a heap of tapas boards in various shapes and sizes, a few heavy boards, a full rack of paddles and boards with handles again including the absolute beauty made from Tassie Blackwood that is Leo's pick, one lonely Jarrah tapas platter and the two new Red Cedar round platters from this week's stock run. We're here until 8pm tonight, in pole position right next to the entry! Come have a chat to Ian and Leo and see if they have what you're after!

Stocktake out on the back deck, because the workshop is a mess at the moment 🤣. We are bringing our A game to Feasts and Friends at St Pauls Lutheran Church Nundah tonight, so if you're looking for something wooden for the dad in your life, find us from 5-8 tonight on Atthow Pde in Nundah. Just follow the smell of the food trucks 😉.

A few samples of what's new that will be on the table tomorrow for Feasts and Friends at St Pauls Lutheran Church Nundah ! There's some incredibly gorgeous red cedar 'not-quite-rounds' in 14 inch diameter, and a cracking Tasmanian Blackwood paddle board. Our 'riot handle' wonky boards are back in stock as well as a long paddle and a 'bottle board'. The usual leaf boards, servers, tapas boards etc will also be in stock, and Ian is going to do his best to put a couple of brisket boards and bread knives down as well. Father's day shopping sorted - come find us Friday night in Nundah!

New raw stock! Nothing like a trip out to see Ayao to put a spring in your step and leave your car smelling amazing! Our next stock run this week will include a few exotics - red cedar, Tassie blackwood and mahogany as well as the usual camphor laurel goodies. Keep an eye out in coming days as we do a stock listing in preparation for father's day!

Back at Feasts and Friends here at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Nundah tonight, keeping our toe in the market game here at our local haunt. No new stock this week as we've been running low on raw slabs for a little while now, but we'll be headed out to our favourite sawmill tomorrow so August will be epic in terms of new stock! We're still holding plenty of leaf boards, and a few big platters/choppers. The big Jarrah board continues to refuse to leave with anyone, but we're confident that it'll find a forever home eventually, and there's still a good assortment of Huon to be had. Ian and Leo will be here from 5-8 ready to help you pick out that delightful piece of timber for your kitchen!

It's a chilly one tonight here at Feasts and Friends here at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Nundah, but don't let that stop you. We're pleased to announce that we'll maintain a regular presence here once a month as we figure out the changes to the business, it's close to home and we want to keep a presence in our local community. Leo is back on shop duty and his pick of the night is this huge bottle board which is looking for a home. We're restocked with leaf boards, and a few big platters/choppers. The big Jarrah board is still looking for a home, along with some more salt and butter plates. The Huon table is 100% Leo's setup tonight, and he's very proud of it. Brave the winter chill and come down to grab a burger or bratwurst from the food trucks, and chat with Ian or Leo about what piece of timber is missing from your life!!

Hey guys, tonight we'll be at Feasts and Friends at St Paul's Lutheran Church, Nundah. You'll notice we've been a bit quiet lately and we'd like to be upfront with you all that the last few months of 2025 and our return to the markets for 2026 have seen substantially lower sales than before. We've basically made zero profit from the market side of things since about August last year. Add to that the increased costs of travel to and from some of the ones not near us and it's simply become unviable for the moment to continue doing them. Tonight may be our last market for a while, as we reconfigure our business model and move to a more online and collaborative focussed approach with some local stockists instead - keep an eye out for updates on that

Come see us at Nundah tonight for a chat and see what's in the stock boxes - if it's a good one we might even be back again next month 😉
