✨️🌎 Kasane Market Day 🛍️🐘

We organized a Market Day in Kasane, bringing together local products from different parts of Botswana. 🇧🇼

We had a wonderful opportunity to share the unique products and creativity of local communities with people in Kasane and visitors from around the world.

We were especially happy to see people picking up the products, showing interest, and taking them home with them. Seeing our products reach new people was truly rewarding. 🫶

We also visited lodges in Kasane to introduce and promote the local products as part of our Market Day activities. 🌿.∘

We would like to continue working in our respective communities so that more people can discover the wonderful local products made across Botswana, while also creating more opportunities to support the communities behind them. 🤝

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us in organizing the Kasane Market Day and to everyone who came to visit and support us. Your support means a lot to us! ❤️🇧🇼

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮 "𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗼" 𝗞𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗺𝗮 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗝𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻

Selemo a volunteer from JICA, Japan shares an insightful presentation on the importance of appreciating, reusing and avoiding waste. She highlighted how these values are already part of Botswana’s way of life, through practices such as reusing items, sharing resources and making good use of what we have.

The presentation encouraged us to recognise and strengthen these existing practices as part of building a more sustainable and responsible society.

🇧🇼✨ Botswana Consumer Fair 2026 ✨🇧🇼

Community Development Volunteers participated in the Botswana Consumer Fair 2026 in Gaborone!

We showcased and sold handmade crafts and products made by local groups that we support in our communities.🧺🧢🧸

It was a great opportunity to introduce their products to many people, connect with new customers, and learn more about customer needs and preferences. 💡✨

We were also very happy to see many of the products sold during the event! 🎉
A big thank you to everyone who visited and supported us. 🙏💛

We hope to use what we learned to continue supporting local communities and small businesses! 🌱🤝
