“I literally screamed, that is beyond perfection. You did such an incredible job, thank you so much.”

This was the response I received after I sent off this completed portrait!
A response like that makes me so incredibly happy!!!!

Over the years that I have been painting, I have painted a number of families more than once.
It’s so fun to see families grow!
What a joy to see little ones get bigger and see new babes added to families. 😊❤️

Sorry to all my followers for my lack of consistency in posting.
I have continued taking orders over the summer break. But I have definitely taken a step back from social media as I’ve been enjoying summer break with my kids home!

If you are interested in a family portrait, like this lovely family, send me a message! 😊❤️

Landscapes are the least common paintings I do. But I enjoy the challenge of them and I am eager to improve.
A tip I've learned over time, is to use darker values for the portions of the painting that are closer, and lighter values further away, to create distance.
I've tried to apply this method in this watercolour painting of a beautiful view from a hike. 🏔️🌲⛅️

Memorial portraits of beloved pets who have passed away are some of my more popular pet commissions.
I am always deeply honored to paint them.

I deeply enjoyed painting this whimsical memorial portrait of the little hedgehog.

The request for the background was for a “Frog & Toad” style art.
I loved that series when I was younger.
It brought me a lot of joy to find inspiration from those illustrations. 🥰 🐸

This portrait was particularly special to work on as it commemorated a Grandma's anniversary picture from years ago, whose husband has since passed.

Check out the second photo to read how this Grandma reacted when she received this thoughtful gift. 🎁🥹💕

I love to paint sweet, little cards for my friends when they’ve welcomed a baby into their lives!

I have heard later from some of them, whom I’ve gifted a similar card, that they end up being framed and added to the nursery.
What an honour, to have my art up in a baby’s room! 😊
