Hopped on this trend—which I don’t normally do—but this one felt a little too perfect not to.

A few things I think are kinda chic…

Growing flowers and food. Celebrating every year. Setting a beautiful table. Gathering people together. Making things by hand. Building alongside good people. Saving old houses. Meeting people who inspire you. And bringing the flowers inside.

I suppose, for me, “chic” has very little to do with what is fashionable.

It is about creating beauty, honouring the ordinary, preserving things with a story, and building a life filled with people and moments that matter.

And perhaps the chicest thing of all is slowing down long enough to enjoy the life you have worked so hard to build. 🤍

There’s something truly magical about gathering around one long table, surrounded by flowers, incredible food, wonderful company, and the beauty of a summer evening. ✨

These photos are a little glimpse into what makes our Long Table Dinner so special.

We’re incredibly grateful to our friends at CedarCreek Estate Winery, who once again are generously sponsoring this experience with thoughtfully curated w**e pairings for every course, beginning with a welcome glass as you arrive. Their w**es beautifully complement each dish, creating an unforgettable dining experience.

For those who prefer not to drink w**e, we’ve created beautiful handcrafted mocktails so everyone can enjoy a perfectly paired experience.

This year’s Long Table Dinner has already sold out. Because so many of you wanted to join us, we’ve opened just 20 additional seats. Once those are gone, that will truly be it.
