A little personal update from behind the candles. Last night, I graduated high school! 🎓
It feels surreal to have reached this milestone after four years of hard work, growth, and so many memories. While graduation is a huge accomplishment, I'm not quite finished yet, I've still got my final performance tasks and exams to tackle this month.
As excited as I am to officially wrap up high school, I'm even more excited for the next chapter ahead. Wherever life takes me next, one thing is certain: candles will still be part of the journey. 🕯️
This little business has taught me so much about creativity, responsibility, and entrepreneurship, and I can't wait to continue growing it alongside whatever comes next.
Thank you to everyone who has supported my candle journey so far. Your orders, shares, and encouragement mean more than you know. ❤️

As May comes to an end, we’d like to share a recap of everything we’ve done this month!

🏒 We delivered and set up all the custom centrepiece candles we made for the Burlington Oldtimers Hockey Clubs’ 50th Anniversary Gala! It was amazing to see our candles displayed at such a special event!

🌱 We created a new line of charity candles in adorable pet-themed mugs filled with our Roasted Espresso scent. They’re available for sale at Pets N Groom for $30 each with $5 from every candle sold being donated to the Levie Initiative!

🎟️ We happily put together and donated a couple of silent auction and raffle baskets for causes close to our hearts. One basket for the Diabetes Canada Pump Couture silent auction and another for our elementary schools’ fun fair!

🛝 We’re excited to be vendors again at the Burlington Backyard Bash, a day of summer fun organized by Flashe Gas, Florian Realty Team, and the Burlington Lions Club in support of the Burlington Food Bank!

As for our personal lives:

🎓📢 Grace has been very busy with the end of school approaching, she had her Prom, is getting ready for her commencement, and officially accepted her offer and committed to the University of Toronto Mississauga for Life Sciences! She also had a very fun and educational weekend at the Central Ontario Leadership Seminars where she led a group of eight grade 10 students through the program!

👗🍼 Izzy visited Toronto for her outfit fitting for her looks she’ll be modeling at the Diabetes Canada Pump Couture event in a couple weeks! She also landed another babysitting job to keep her busy in the summer!

🎭 And together we participated in our schools sketch comedy production of Monday Night Live, with Grace acting, Izzy working behind the scenes as a costumer, hair & makeup design, and our parents and grandparents coming to support us!

Happy Monday 🤍
This weekend flew by around here!Grace has been away at COLS since Thursday and didn’t get home until Sunday night. Meanwhile, Izzy was busy with babysitting, homework, and spending time with our current boarding pup, Wendel.
With all the running around, not a single candle got poured this weekend and honestly, sometimes life just looks like that.
This week we’re getting back into candle mode and starting to plan:
Scents and products for the Flashgas/Florian event on June 28. Also planning:

💙 Father’s Day gifts
